Red Creek Bluff Trail

Go south on the county road for one-quarter of a mile, turn right onto the first pasture road. Follow the pasture road, first in a westerly direction and then south to the beginning of the trail along edge of the bluff overlooking Red Creek canyon.  At this point there are views of over two miles both to the west and the south.  Follow the trail east along the bluff and then veer south, stopping at several look-out points along the way for dramatic bluff views of the sprawling Red Creek canyon meandering below.  The trail is parallel to the county road only a short distance away to the east, which may be followed back to the headquarters.  Partial trail distance round trip one and one-half miles.  The trail may be followed all the way to Sunset Point, a trail distance of one and three-quarters, plus one and one quarter-miles north on the county road back to headquarters. Total distance is three miles.
